About Us

CASA of the Fourth Judicial District has been dedicated to best-interest advocacy for the children in our district since 2002.

Our Program

For 20 years, CASA of the Fourth Judicial District has been recruiting, screening, and training volunteers who advocate for the best interest of abused and neglected children.

Imagine you are a child removed from your home, alone and frightened. You have a caseworker, but they have other kids and cannot visit you often. You want consistency, a mentor, or anyone to share your fears and accomplishments. That is where CASA Volunteers come in. We advocate for the child’s voice while in the child welfare system. As a CASA Volunteer, you provide the attention and consistency these children desperately need.

CASA of the Fourth Judicial District provides trained CASA volunteers that advocate for the best interests of the children in need to provide safe, healthy, and stable homes.

CASA is an organization that I have always admired. And, after taking some time off to raise my kids, I am thrilled to be back advocating for children again as the Fourth Judicial District CASA Executive Director.

Before CASA, I worked for a handful of non-profits aimed at bettering the lives of children. I served as the Kansas Big Brothers Big Sisters NE Regional Program Director out of the Douglas County office. I also worked with children at GaDuGi Safe Center (now the Sexual Trauma and Abuse Care Center) as the Child and Family Program Director. And, I was a wish granter for the Make-a-Wish Foundation of Missouri. I am anxious to continue serving the children of my community through my new role with CASA.
