Thank you for your interest in assisting our program whether with your time or resources. Roles are available to assist with clerical duties, program recruitment, and education through ambassadorship, or board membership. Each role is valuable and essential to the success of our program. Volunteers may also participate in community outreach for needs directly related to the children that we serve, such as school supplies, clothing, and more.

Admin Assistance

Volunteers help with the clerical needs of the program. They assist with filing, organization, marketing, social media content, grant writing assistance, etc. Requirements for this volunteer position are:

  • No age requirement
  • Complete volunteer application
  • Must pass all required background checks
  • Must show experience in tasks 
  • Complete all duties in a professional and timely manner

Ambassadors

Ambassadors assist with recruiting and outreach for the program. They volunteer at events and seek out applicants for the program. More information is listed below:

  • No age requirement
  • Participate in a personal interview
  • Complete brief program training
  • Have a strong belief in the program’s mission and vision
  • Have strong communication skills
  • Ability to represent the program in a positive and professional manner
  • Ability to work with community partners for program needs
  • Assist with program recruitment

Board Membership

Board members are essential to the behind-the-scenes functions of CASA of the Fourth Judicial District. They assist with policy-making, strategic planning, growth plans, etc. If interested, an applicant must meet the following requirements:

  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Commit to a three (3) year term
  • Resides or employed in the district
  • Complete application process
  • Pass all background screening
  • Participate in a personal interview with the Board
  • Participate in program outreach activities

Cuddle Kits

Cuddle Kits are given to children who’ve been removed from their homes due to abuse and/or neglect. Community members/groups are invited to help CASA assemble CUDDLE KITS. Each kit should include:

  • One soft blanket (to wrap up in)
  • One cuddly stuffed animal (to hold)
  • One pillow case (to use as a bag to collect their belongings)
  • One flashlight with batteries (because sometimes the dark can be scary)
